Option Chain
An option chain is a listing of available option contracts for an underlying asset, typically organized by expiration date, strike price and option type. It can also display information such as: bid, ask, volume, open interest, implied volatility, and Greeks.
Why it matters to you
The option chain is where traders compare available contracts. Instead of saying: "I want an AMZN call," the chain lets the trader choose the exact: expiration, strike, price, and contract.
