Expiration Date
The expiration date is the date associated with the end of an option contract's life, subject to the contract's exercise and settlement rules.
Why it matters to you
Options do not generally provide unlimited time for a market view to work. Two calls with the same underlying asset and strike price but different expirations are different contracts and can have very different values.
