Ask
The ask is the lowest price a seller is currently willing to accept for an asset in a quoted market. It represents the selling side of the market and is sometimes called the offer.
Why it matters to you
If you want to buy an asset immediately, the lowest available ask may determine the price you currently pay. The difference between the best bid and best ask provides useful information about the liquidity and trading cost of a market.
