Order Book
An order book is a list of outstanding buy and sell orders for an asset, usually organized by price. It shows the prices and quantities at which market participants are currently willing to transact.
Why it matters to you
An order book helps investors see more than just the latest traded price. It can show how much buying and selling interest exists around different prices and whether a market has enough depth to absorb larger transactions.
