Market Maker

A market maker is a market participant that regularly provides prices at which it is prepared to buy and sell an asset. By providing both bids and asks, market makers can make it easier for other participants to trade.

Why it matters to you

A token being listed on a marketplace does not guarantee there will always be someone ready to trade it. Market makers can improve market liquidity and reduce trading friction, particularly in markets where natural trading activity is limited.
