Bid
The bid is the highest price a buyer is currently willing to pay for an asset in a quoted market. It represents the buying side of the market.
Why it matters to you
If you want to sell an asset immediately, the highest available bid may determine the price you can currently receive. In less liquid RWA markets, the best bid may be significantly below the price at which sellers are offering the asset.
