Onchain Record
An onchain record is information stored or recorded on a blockchain. For tokenized assets, this may include token balances, ownership addresses, transfers, issuance activity or other transaction data.
Why it matters to you
Onchain records can make certain information easier to verify independently. But they only show what has been recorded on the blockchain. They do not automatically confirm the accuracy of offchain legal documents, valuations, custody records or physical assets.
