Token
A token is a digital unit recorded on a blockchain that can represent value, ownership, rights or access. In RWA markets, a token may represent an interest in an asset, security, fund, debt instrument or another financial arrangement.
Why it matters to you
The token itself is only the digital representation. What matters to an investor is what the token represents, which legal and economic rights come with it, and how those rights connect to the underlying asset.
