A market sell is an aggressive sell instruction that executes against available buy liquidity in the order book. It typically trades against one or more bids.
Why it matters to you
Market sells consume available buy liquidity. If selling is larger than the available liquidity at the current bid, execution can continue at progressively lower prices.
