Taker Fee
A taker fee is the trading fee applied when an execution removes existing liquidity from the order book under the platform's rules.
Why it matters to you
A trader using market orders frequently may repeatedly pay taker fees in addition to crossing the bid ask spread and potentially experiencing slippage. Execution cost is therefore more than the headline trading fee alone.
