Real Estate Equity
Real estate equity represents an ownership interest in a property or in a legal entity that owns property. Investors may participate in rental income and changes in the property's value after expenses, financing obligations and other claims are accounted for.
Why it matters to you
Two tokens may both be marketed as tokenized real estate while representing very different investments. One might represent property equity while another represents a loan secured against property. Those positions have different rights, return profiles and risks.
