Cash Flow

Cash flow is money moving into or out of an asset, business or investment. For an RWA investment, incoming cash flow might come from rent, interest payments, dividends, loan repayments or other income generated by the underlying asset.

Why it matters to you

Many RWAs derive their value partly from the cash flows they generate. Understanding where those cash flows come from, how reliable they are and what costs are deducted before they reach investors is central to evaluating an income producing asset.
