Economic Rights
Economic rights are rights to receive financial benefits connected to an investment. These could include income, dividends, interest, distributions or a share of proceeds when an asset is sold.
Why it matters to you
An investor may have economic exposure to an asset without directly owning that asset. Understanding the economic rights attached to a token helps clarify where potential returns come from and what the holder is actually entitled to receive.
