Prediction Market Spread
A prediction market spread is the difference between the best available bid and ask prices for a contract.
Why it matters to you
Suppose buyers are bidding: $0.58 while sellers are asking: $0.62 The spread is: $0.04 A wider spread increases the difference between the prices at which traders can immediately buy and sell. This matters particularly in less liquid prediction markets.
