Market Repricing

Market repricing occurs when prediction market prices change as traders respond to new information, changing expectations or shifts in supply and demand.

Why it matters to you

Suppose a market moves: 35% to 58% after an important announcement. The event itself has not necessarily occurred. Instead, traders have changed the probability they assign to the outcome. Understanding repricing is fundamental because traders can profit or lose from changing expectations before the final event is resolved.
