Information Edge
An information edge exists when a trader has access to relevant information, research or analysis that allows them to estimate an outcome more accurately than the market currently does.
Why it matters to you
Prediction markets reward useful information only when that information helps you identify a difference between: market probability and your estimate of fair probability. Simply knowing more facts about a subject does not automatically create an edge. The information must improve the decision.
