Whitelisting
Whitelisting is the process of approving specific users, accounts or blockchain addresses before allowing them to perform certain actions. In RWA markets, a wallet may need to be whitelisted before it can receive or transfer a regulated token.
Why it matters to you
A blockchain may technically allow assets to move between addresses, while the investment itself is legally restricted to particular investors. Whitelisting provides one way to connect investor approval and compliance requirements with onchain transfers.
