Permissioned Token

A permissioned token is a token whose ownership or transfer is restricted according to predefined rules. For example, transfers may only be allowed between wallets belonging to investors who have completed identity checks or meet particular eligibility requirements.

Why it matters to you

Many RWAs represent regulated financial assets that cannot legally be transferred to anyone without restrictions. Permissioned tokens allow some of those compliance requirements to be incorporated into the token's infrastructure.
