Investor Eligibility

Investor eligibility refers to the requirements a person or organization must satisfy before being allowed to participate in a particular investment. Requirements can depend on jurisdiction, investor classification, residency, the type of asset and how the investment is offered.

Why it matters to you

A tokenized asset being visible online does not necessarily mean everyone is legally allowed to buy it. Eligibility rules can determine who can participate in the initial offering, hold the token, receive transfers or trade it in a secondary market.
