Transfer
A transfer is the movement of an asset or token from one person, account or blockchain address to another. For tokenized assets, the technical transfer may take place onchain while legal or compliance rules determine whether that transfer is permitted.
Why it matters to you
Blockchain technology may make a token technically easy to move, but that does not mean every transfer is legally valid or unrestricted. Some RWAs can only be transferred between approved investors or wallets.
