Tokenized Securities

Tokenized securities are securities whose ownership or investment interests are represented using blockchain based tokens. They can include tokenized shares, bonds, fund interests and other regulated financial instruments.

Why it matters to you

Tokenization changes the infrastructure used to represent or transfer the security. It does not automatically change the legal nature of the investment. If the underlying instrument is a security, securities laws and investor protection requirements may still apply.
