Timing Edge
A timing edge exists when a trader identifies and correctly interprets relevant information before it is fully reflected in the market price.
Why it matters to you
Information can be valuable even when everyone will eventually know it. The opportunity may exist during the period between: information becoming available and the market fully repricing it. But speed alone is not enough. Acting quickly on misunderstood information can be worse than acting slowly on correctly interpreted information.
