Information Lag
Information lag is the period between relevant information becoming available and that information being fully reflected in market prices.
Why it matters to you
An information lag may create a temporary opportunity if a trader identifies the significance of new information before the wider market reprices it. But apparent lags should be treated carefully. The market may already know the information or may simply interpret it differently.
