Realized PnL
Realized PnL is profit or loss that has been recognized according to the platform's accounting rules, commonly after some or all of a position has been closed.
Why it matters to you
A trader may see a large unrealized profit while a position is open, but that figure can change as the market moves. Realized PnL shows the profit or loss that has actually been crystallized under the platform's accounting system. Trading fees and funding can also affect the trader's final result.
