Prediction market PnL measures the profit or loss generated by a prediction market position. PnL may be unrealized while the position remains open or realized after the position is closed or settled.
Why it matters to you
Your PnL depends on more than whether the eventual outcome is YES or NO. A trader may generate a profit by buying a contract at a lower price and selling it at a higher price before resolution.
