Entry Price
Entry price is the price at which a trader enters a position. If the position is built through several executions, the platform may instead display an average entry price.
Why it matters to you
Entry price affects PnL, stop placement, risk calculations and the distance between the position and important market levels. The price a trader intended to enter at is less important than the price at which the trade actually executed.
