Average Entry Price
Average entry price is the weighted average price at which a position has been established through multiple executions or additions.
Why it matters to you
If a trader enters at several different prices, no single fill accurately represents the cost basis of the entire position. The average entry price provides a more useful reference for measuring PnL and managing the position.
