Options Spread

An options spread combines two or more option positions on the same underlying, typically using different strikes, expirations or both.

Why it matters to you

Spreads allow traders to reshape: potential profit, potential loss, premium cost, Delta, Theta, Vega, and other exposures. Buying and selling options together can therefore produce a very different position from simply buying a call or put.
