Multi Leg Order
A multi leg order combines two or more option positions into a single strategy order. Examples include: vertical spreads, straddles, strangles, iron condors, and calendar spreads.
Why it matters to you
Submitting the legs together allows the trader to specify a combined price for the overall strategy rather than independently executing every component. This can reduce the risk of one leg executing while another does not, although execution is never guaranteed.
