Open Order
An open order is an order that has been submitted but has not yet been completely filled or canceled. It remains capable of executing if its conditions are met.
Why it matters to you
Traders should always know which orders remain active. An old limit, stop or take profit order can execute later if market conditions reach it, potentially changing a position when the trader no longer expects it.
