Good Till Canceled (GTC)
Good Till Canceled, or GTC, is a time in force instruction that keeps an order active until it is filled, canceled or otherwise removed according to the platform's rules.
Why it matters to you
A GTC order can remain active long after it was originally placed. Traders should therefore regularly check outstanding orders, particularly when their market view or existing position has changed.
