Intellectual Property (IP) Tokenization
Intellectual Property tokenization uses digital tokens to represent ownership, economic rights or financial interests connected to intellectual property. This could involve rights associated with music, patents, media, licensing agreements or other forms of intellectual property.
Why it matters to you
Intellectual property can generate valuable cash flows, but those rights can be complicated. A token might represent a share of specific royalties without providing ownership of the underlying copyright or patent itself. Investors therefore need to understand exactly which rights and revenue streams the token represents.
