Fund Administrator
A fund administrator is a service provider responsible for specified operational and accounting functions for an investment fund. Depending on the arrangement, these can include maintaining records, calculating NAV, processing subscriptions and redemptions and preparing financial or investor information.
Why it matters to you
A tokenized fund still needs the operational infrastructure of a fund. Investors should distinguish the administrator responsible for fund operations from the asset manager making investment decisions and the custodian safeguarding assets.
