Estimated Liquidations
Estimated liquidations are modeled estimates of leveraged positions that may become subject to liquidation if price reaches particular levels.
Why it matters to you
Public market data does not necessarily reveal every trader's complete position, collateral and liquidation calculation. Analytics providers therefore use available information and their own methodologies to estimate potential liquidation exposure. This means estimated liquidation data should be treated as analytical context rather than exact future knowledge.
