Liquidation Heatmap
A liquidation heatmap is a visual tool designed to show price areas where leveraged positions are estimated to face elevated liquidation risk. Different providers use different data sources, assumptions and modeling methods.
Why it matters to you
Heatmaps help traders visualize where concentrations of potential forced positioning may exist above and below the current market price. They can provide useful context for volatility and liquidity analysis. But they are estimates, not an exchange's complete list of every trader's exact liquidation price.
