Estimated Liquidation Price
Estimated liquidation price is a platform's current estimate of the price at which a leveraged position would meet its liquidation conditions. The estimate can change as the position, margin, account equity or platform parameters change.
Why it matters to you
The word estimated matters. Adding or removing margin, changing position size, funding payments, other positions and changes to account equity can affect the liquidation calculation depending on the platform. Traders should therefore not assume the displayed liquidation price is permanently fixed.
