Average Fill Price
Average fill price is the weighted average price at which an order executes when it receives multiple fills. Example You buy: 2 contracts at $5.00 3 contracts at $5.10 Average fill: (2 × $5.00 + 3 × $5.10) ÷ 5 = $5.06
Why it matters to you
Large or less liquid orders may execute at multiple prices. The average fill price represents the trader's actual average entry or exit price for that execution.
