Asset Administration
Asset administration refers to the operational work required to maintain an investment or portfolio after it has been created. This can include record keeping, processing income and payments, maintaining investor information, valuations and other administrative functions depending on the asset.
Why it matters to you
Issuing a token is only the beginning. An RWA may continue operating for years and require ongoing administration throughout its life. Good tokenization therefore needs infrastructure for the entire investment lifecycle, not simply token issuance.
