YES Price
YES price is the current market price associated with the YES outcome of a prediction contract. In a straightforward binary contract paying $1 if YES occurs, a YES price of $0.60 can be interpreted approximately as a 60% market implied probability before accounting for relevant market frictions.
Why it matters to you
YES price tells you both what the YES position currently costs and, under the appropriate contract structure, the approximate probability being priced by the market. But the important question for a trader is not simply: What is the YES price? It is: How does that price compare with my estimate of fair value?
