Trading Before Resolution
Trading before resolution means buying or selling a prediction market position while the event remains unresolved.
Why it matters to you
You do not necessarily need to predict the final outcome correctly to trade a change in market expectations. Suppose you buy YES at: $0.35 New information arrives. The market reprices YES to: $0.60 The event itself has not happened. Depending on the market structure and available liquidity, you may choose to exit and realise the change in value rather than wait for resolution.
