Tokenized Private Equity
Tokenized private equity uses blockchain based tokens to represent investment interests connected to privately owned companies or private equity funds. Depending on the structure, the token may represent shares, fund interests or economic rights linked to private investments.
Why it matters to you
Private equity has traditionally involved high investment minimums, limited transferability and long holding periods. Tokenization may improve how interests are issued, administered and transferred, but it does not automatically create liquidity or remove restrictions on who is allowed to invest.
