Time to Expiration
Time to expiration is the amount of time remaining before an option reaches expiration.
Why it matters to you
Time is valuable in options because more time generally provides more opportunity for the underlying asset to make a significant move. All else equal, an option with more time remaining will generally contain more extrinsic value than an otherwise comparable option with less time remaining.
