Post Only
Post only is an order instruction designed to ensure a limit order is added to the order book as maker liquidity rather than immediately executing against an existing order. If it would execute immediately, the platform will typically cancel or reject it according to its rules.
Why it matters to you
Post only gives traders greater control over whether an order enters the book as a maker. This can matter because maker and taker fees may differ. It also prevents a trader who intended to provide liquidity from accidentally crossing the spread and executing immediately.
