Maximum Leverage
Maximum leverage is the highest leverage a trading platform permits for a particular market, position size or account under its rules.
Why it matters to you
An exchange offering 50× or 100× leverage does not mean using that amount is appropriate. Maximum leverage is a platform limit, not a risk recommendation. Higher position sizes can also have lower maximum leverage or higher margin requirements under tiered risk systems.
