Investment Mandate
An investment mandate sets out how an investment portfolio or fund is intended or permitted to be managed. It may define areas such as eligible assets, investment objectives, risk limits or other restrictions on the manager.
Why it matters to you
A tokenized fund's technology tells you how the investment may be represented or transferred. Its investment mandate tells you much more about what the manager is actually allowed to do with the money. Both matter, but they answer completely different questions.
