Exit Liquidity
Exit liquidity refers to the available market liquidity that allows a trader to reduce or close a position at a reasonable price.
Why it matters to you
Getting into a position is only half of the execution problem. If a market becomes thin or trading interest disappears, exiting a large position may require accepting a substantially worse price. Traders should therefore consider: If my thesis changes, how easily can I get out? before entering.
