Break Even Price

Break even price is the price at which a position produces neither a net profit nor a net loss under the calculation being used. Depending on context, fees, funding and other costs may affect the true economic break even point.

Why it matters to you

The entry price and true break even price are not always identical. Trading costs and funding can change the price required for a position to produce a net zero result.
