Binary Market

A binary market is a prediction market with two mutually exclusive outcomes, commonly expressed as YES and NO. For example: Will the Federal Reserve cut interest rates at its next meeting? YES or NO.

Why it matters to you

Binary markets are one of the easiest prediction market structures to understand because the two outcomes represent opposing answers to the same question. Their pricing can often be interpreted in probability terms, subject to the market structure and trading costs.
