Used Margin
Used margin is the portion of a trader's eligible capital currently allocated or required to support open positions and, depending on the platform, certain open orders.
Why it matters to you
Used margin helps show how much of the account's trading capacity has already been committed. As more margin becomes tied up in positions, the trader has less flexibility to absorb losses or open additional trades.
