Trading Journal
A trading journal is a structured record of trades, decisions, results and observations used to evaluate trading performance over time.
Why it matters to you
Without records, traders are often relying on memory to decide what is working. A journal allows them to review entries, exits, risk, R multiples, mistakes and market conditions across a larger sample of trades. The purpose is not simply to record wins and losses. It is to improve the process that produced them.
